The AIEF School Network

In the AIEF Scholarship Program, we partner with leading boarding schools and residential university colleges in Australia that have a demonstrated commitment to Indigenous education and relationships with Indigenous communities and families.

AIEF assists its partner schools to establish and maintain a sustainable critical mass of Indigenous boarders by underwriting an agreed number of boarding places for Indigenous scholarships at each school on an ongoing basis.

As our funding base grows, we partner with more schools and offer more scholarships.

The following pages provide a list of all AIEF Partner Schools and Residential University Colleges including their contact details for enrolment.

The Indigenous students at these schools come from more than 100 different home communities in metropolitan, regional and remote parts of the country, and the Year 12 graduates come out of school well-educated and work-ready.

AIEF has no religious affiliation and religion is not part of our partner school or student selection criteria.

Please note that individual schools have different enrolment criteria and the availability of scholarships may be limited. Eligibility restrictions for scholarships can include certain home communities and/or regions, specific skills or other criteria.

“Education is the essential, basic key in opening the door of opportunity. For every person. It has been the core ingredient in human progress for centuries, no matter race, colour or creed. But, it’s a door that has been closed for too long, for too many Indigenous Australians.”
