AIEF was proud to attend the 26th annual Garma Festival, held from 31 July to 3 August 2026 in the Arnhem Land region.  Hosted by the Yothu Yindi Foundation, the Garma Festival brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to enjoy cultural exchange and discussion. In 2026, the Festival theme was Bukmak (everyone) — celebrating the diversity of modern Australia, and meant as an expression of unity. The AIEF Team was delighted to host a group at the Festival, including AIEF Alum Lowanna, Jerome and Dion, as well as representatives from AIEF Partners.
