On Thursday 17 and Friday 18 May, we held the AIEF Work Readiness Program which was hosted by AIEFs corporate partner, The Trust Company in their Sydney office.
The program prepares Year 12 students in the AIEF Scholarship Program to enter the workforce or tertiary studies after completing school. The two-day workshop was a big success and received great feedback from both students who attended and corporate partners who presented modules throughout the two days.
The modules that were presented included topics such as Interview Techniques, What Employers Want, Public Speaking Techniques and Financial Literacy.
One corporate presenter commented, What a fantastic bunch of students, I couldnt believe their willingness to share their stories and dreams.”
