On Thursday 9 May, AIEF Patron David Gonski AC and AIEF Ambassador Matt Comyn hosted the annual AIEF Ambassador Briefing at the Commonwealth Bank in Sydney, culminating in the launch of the AIEF 2018 Annual Report with AIEF Patron Professor the Honourable Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO.
AIEF Executive Director Andrew Penfold updated AIEF Ambassadors, Board and Nation Changers Syndicate members on AIEFs progress and key achievements over the past year.
AIEF Alumni Kygim King, Kodie Mason, Ellen Pike, Jamika Shillingsworth and James Widders-Leece, along with AIEF Scholarship Student Onyi Nwamadi, attended the event and spoke about the impact receiving a scholarship has had on their educational journeys, and how they are giving back to the wider community.
AIEF is privileged to have the support of a large network of distinguished Ambassadors who have achieved success and prominence in their respective fields and act as passionate advocates for Indigenous education and continue to champion AIEF and the work we do.
