Over 40 AIEF Scholarship Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 enjoyed learning about the different pathways to studying at university at the AIEF Tertiary Experience Day in Queensland.
Students gained insights into university life, exploring course options, visiting residential colleges, hearing from Indigenous Support Units and participating in activities across different faculties.
Particular highlights for the students included their session with the Exercise Science team within the Health Faculty at the University of Queensland; and the robotics activity they completed with the Engineering Faculty at the Queensland University of Technology.
Students also enjoyed hearing from those with first-hand experience of the transition from school to university, including AIEF Alumni Danella Mene, Lucas Schober and Lachy Bon.
