AIEF and BP Australia announced a new $1 million partnership at the launch of BP’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in Perth on 7 March 2012.

The new partnership is part of BP’s ongoing commitment to Indigenous communities across Australia and one of the key elements of the company’s RAP. One of the areas which the RAP focuses on is developing pathways to full economic participation and employment and education is a key part of this effort.

AIEF Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Penfold says he is excited to further expand the Foundation’s work through this substantial new partnership.

“AIEF partners with the nation’s leading companies to deliver real and tangible results in Indigenous education and careers, and BP Australia demonstrates a strong commitment to making a difference to the future of Indigenous children. We are extremely proud to be partnering with a leading global brand like BP, setting a benchmark for corporate Australia.”
