AIEF Scholarship Students in Year 9 and Year 10 learned about different factors shaping the future of employment in Australia as part of workshops held in 2019.

AIEF Scholarship Students learned about the role of AIEF in their boarding school journey and connected with students in different year groups at the Year 7 and 8 workshops held in 2019.

?The AIEF Mentor Program is underway for 2019 with induction days for new pairs and group events held in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Cairns throughout February and March.

?AIEF Tertiary Scholar Mikasa Donald was honoured to deliver the Acknowledgement of Country at the Committee for Sydney’s end of year event on 13 December.

AIEF Alumni Paula-Rose Bassett and Lochlan Crossley were honoured to deliver the Acknowledgement of Country at The Ireland Funds Australia Garden Party.

The AIEF Mentor Program concluded for the year with group events in Perth, Cairns, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

AIEF students in Years 10 and 11 recently took part in a combined Learn It! Live It! Work Readiness Workshop and Tertiary Experience Day in Sydney.

During Term 4 AIEF held Year 7-9 activities for students in Queensland, Victoria, NSW, SA and WA. In Brisbane, an afternoon of activities was generously hosted by AFL Queensland? while students in other cities took part in art activities, trivia quizzes and team building games including human bingo!

Students from schools in Queensland and Western Australia recently attended the AIEF Learn It, Live It! Work Readiness Workshop for Year 11 students.

Over 80 AIEF Alumni and Tertiary Scholarship Students from across the country came together in September at the AIEF Alumni Yarn’n Circle, held ahead of the 10th Anniversary Celebration in Sydney.

A gala event was held in Sydney on 6 September to celebrate AIEF’s milestone 10 year anniversary with guests including the Year 12 Class of 2018, teachers and principals from our Partner Schools, AIEF Patrons, Ambassadors, corporate partner representatives, and around 100 of the over 500 AIEF Graduates from all around Australia.
